Daisy Chain Virus

This is an email message which is designed to play a practical joke or prank on someone. The content of the message may look official at first, but upon further inspection, one could surmise it was in fact a joke by reading the details closely.

The email is the creation of a prank joke website at this link: http://www.sillycards.com/virus.cfm

Email messages can be sent to an Internet email address and the recipient will receive a message with the following format:

FROM: "Virus Watch"
TO: (email address)
SUBJECT: YOUR COMPUTER IS INFECTED!
___________________________________

YOUR COMPUTER IS INFECTED!
You are recieving this notice because our servers have detected that while surfing the internet this computer was infected with the Daisy Chain Virus.

The consequences of this virus are quite EXTREME. In fact you only have 10 MINUTES from the time you open this e-mail to follow the link below
and deactivate the virus.

If left untreated your computer will begin transmitting the ENTIRE CONTENTS of your hard drive to CYBER HACKERS.
